Tuesday 25th June to Sunday 7th July Ann Marie Whaley at the Fountain Gallery (26 Bridge Rd, Hampton Court, East Molesey, KT8 9HA). Out of the Blue : Exhibiting with Nigel Moores and Simon Taylor: The exhibition is a celebration of the ‘hand made’, the slow evolution of images and object. Tuesday 18th June to Sunday 14th July Surrey Sculpture Society event at Hatchlands Park (East Clandon, GU4 7RT). 165 sculptures will be on display. Visitors will be able to enjoy the beauty of this renowned and historic National Trust property and the artwork on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays from 10am-5pm. Entrance: National Trust members free. Non-members admission for garden and parkland only (including the Sculpture Trail and Indoor Exhibition): Adult £9, child £4.50, family £22.50. Tuesday 2nd to Sunday 7th July The RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival returns with a dazzling summer celebration of glorious gardens, immersive floral displays, unique shopping, gourmet picnicking, celebrity talks and live music. This year, HRH The Duchess of Cambridge will be co-designing a garden with award-winning Davies White Landscape Architects, following their collaboration at RHS Chelsea. Wednesday 3rd July to Saturday 6th July Spectacular! A live music show. The Barn is thrilled to bring you a night of live music, celebrating some of the greatest songs from the Fifties to the Noughties. Featuring songs from The Rolling Stones, Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Beyonce and many others. Suitable for all the family. Thursday 4th July Walton & Weybridge Flower Club. We welcome visitors to come along and be entertained by our demonstrators, who create beautiful flower arrangements which are raffled at the end of the demonstration, so you might be lucky enough to take one home. Tea and homemade cake on offer. 1.30pm for 2.00pm start at St Andrews Church Hall, Hersham Road, KT16 1LG. Parking within church grounds or on street and a bus stop outside for routes 458 & 564. We meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month (except Jan & Aug). Visitors entry fee £6.00 or annual subscription available.

Friday 5th July Hersham Village Market. Come to buy local food that’s delicious and fresh, free range eggs, hand crafted gifts and cards, or home grown plants and flowers. Open every Friday from 11.45am to 1.15pm. Admission free. All Saints Church Hall (Opposite Hersham Green).

Friday 5th July Surrey Blues Club at Hersham Sports & Social Club, 128 Hersham Road, KT12 5QL. A great evening of Blues music from The Surrey Blues Club Band and guest band The Blue Devils. No admission charge, no membership required, all welcome. Music from 8.45pm.

Saturday 6th July Mama Vox Summer Festival of Music. The ladies’ singing ensemble present their annual summer concert. A mix of the lighter side of music all sung in harmony in support of Music on Hospitals and Care. Starts 6pm, at the Riverhouse Barn, Walton, KT12 2PF. Tickets £5, conc. £3, under 10’s free.

Saturday 13th July The Claygate Flower & Village Show. 1:30pm. Come and see a multitude of wonderful exhibits in the huge marquee, watch dancing and martial arts displays in the arena, take a ride on the fun fair, pet a farm or exotic animal, and much much more. Tuesday 16th July All Our Yesterdays. If you are living with dementia, a carer, living alone or have some spare time come along to St.James Church in Weybridge for 30 minutes of favourite hymns and readings. Friday 19th July Jazz at Imber Court is delighted to welcome back one of UK’s finest trumpet and flugelhorn players, Henry Lowther, backed by the superb rhythm section of John Pearce (keyboard), Dave Green (double bass) and Steve Brown (drums). Expect to hear a variety of sensitive and exciting tunes, played brilliantly. Saturday 20th July and Sunday 21st July Painshill Summer Weekend. There will be a host of Georgian themed activities to keep all ages entertained including boat rides on the lake, birds of prey demonstrations, dance performances, kite making and much more! Saturday 20th July to Sunday 1st September The Very Hungry Caterpillar Summer Fun at RHS Wisley Gardens. Take part in The Very Hungry Caterpillar family trail through the garden along with fun activities for all, such as creating a giant collaborative artwork in the Clore Learning Centre, puppet shows, storytelling and music workshops. Saturday 24th August to Monday 26th August Hampton Court Food Festival. Visitors can tuck into an array of mouth-watering street food from artisan producers, enjoy cookery demonstrations from expert chefs as well as a whole host of live music, all set in the palace’s stunning East Front Gardens. Thursday 5th September Walton & Weybridge Flower Club presents an Open Meeting with Tracey Griffin, National Demonstrator. Whiteley Village Hall, 3A Octagon Road, Herhsam, Kt12 4EG. Doors open 1.00pm for 2.00pm start. Tracey is an award winning floral artist who loves to share her ideas and inspirations. We are excited to see her fabulous arrangements, which will all be raffled at the end of the meeting – you might be lucky enough to take one home!
