Saturday 26th January to Sunday 3rd March LEGO® bricks Jungle Discovery at RHS Gardens Wisley (Wisley Lane, GU23 6QB). Tuesday 5th February Molesey and District Society – The baby race of 1818. The unexpected death of Princess Charlotte in 1817 led to a race among King George IV’s unmarried sons to find wives and produce an heir. Lecturer James Eaton will recall the story of the period, and how Victoria became queen. The meeting is at Imber Court on Ember Lane, East Molesey KT8 0BT at 8pm. Members free, guests £7. Saturday 9th February Hand to Mouth Theatre presents The Mystery of Memory Lane. 2.30pm at Vera Fletcher Hall, Thames Ditton. Tickets £8. Age 3+. Warm and nostalgic show based around a Bric-a Brac market stall where Mr Shabby and Mrs Chic try to teach a new dog old tricks and solve the Mystery of Memory Lane. Telling stories, singing songs, using tin toys, hand-carved marionettes, seaside Punch and Judy puppets and playing vintage musical instruments they eventually restore the memory of the lost Puppet Dog Toby and find out where he belongs. Tuesday 12th February Veterans Support Association support and outreach meeting. 10am-4pm. Veterans and families drop in with several service charities in attendance offering advice and support all day. 3rd Molesey Scout Hut, St Peters Road, West Molesey, KT8 2QE.
