6th July and 7th July The Walton Beer, Wine & Live Music Festival. 7pm-11pm both days. Community event hosted at Walton-on-Thames Cricket Club and organised by a team of local volunteers motivated by making Walton a better place to live. 10th July Surrey Garden Design group talk by Rosy Hardy. Rosy Hardy comes to the Surrey Garden Design group to give a talk on plant combinations, growing tips and avoiding pitfalls. 14th July The Hersham Village Fair is back for an afternoon of family fun from 12pm – until 5pm. There will be performances from Absolute dance, Walton Stagecoach, Outside the box dance, Walton Oak school and Bell Farm choir. Also a variety of stalls, Beach’s Funfair, Surrey 4×4 Response, Radio Wey, Bubbleologist and a David Beckham lookalike. The event is raising funds for the Childrens ward at St Peters Hospital. 14th July Elmbridge Museum Family Fun Days – Horrible Heads. Take part in the Festival of Archaeology with Elmbridge Museum. Learn about objects excavated from the Oatlands Palace site in Weybridge. 18th July Music on the Green Lunchtime Concert. This lunchtime our accomplished violin duo will present a most lively and entertaining programme Highly experienced Felicity Broome-Skelton and Natalee Jeremic have been playing together since 2002 throughout the UK and mainland Europe, including broadcasts for the BBC. 14th August Veterans Support Association support and outreach meeting. From 10.00  – 16.00 Veterans and families drop in with several service charities in attendance offering advice and support all day.
