Thursday 4th April Walton & Weybridge Flower Club. We welcome visitors to come along and be entertained by our demonstrators, who create beautiful flower arrangements which are raffled at the end of the demonstration, so you might be lucky enough to take one home. Tea and homemade cake on offer. 1.30pm for 2.00pm start at St Andrews Church Hall, Hersham Road, KT16 1LG. Parking within church grounds or on street and a bus stop outside for routes 458 & 564. We meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month. Visitors entry fee £6.00 or annual subscription available.
Friday 5th April The Mayor’s Charity Bridge Tea, at Long Ditton Village Hall, KT6 5LE. An afternoon of Bridge and lovely homemade Tea. £36 for 4 or £20 for a pair, please reserve your place by emailing: email@example.com.

Satuday 6th April Hersham Village Market – Saturday Market. All Saints Church Hall (Opposite Hersham Green). Open 12.30pm-3pm. We’ll have all your favourite cakes and bakes for sale, plants and veg, jams, chutneys and locally produced honey, as well as unique hand-crafted gifts and greetings cards. Light lunches will be served in the coffee lounge, free parking and free entry.

Tuesday 9th April Mission: Invertebrate Roadshow at Bushy Park. Join us for a day of storytelling, bug hunting and critter crafting. Hop aboard the Bugmobile to discover why invertebrates are so important to life on earth, and explore their habitats. Drop in any time between 11am and 3pm to take part in a host of bug-tastic activities. Location: next to The Pheasantry in the Woodland Gardens.
Tuesday 9th April to Thursday 18th April Free Forest School activities for 3 to 7-year-olds with the Elmbridge countryside team. Forest School will include den building, natural arts and crafts and small tool use and more. Activities run from Tuesday 9 April to Thursday 11 April and Tuesday 16 April to Thursday 18 April between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Tuesday 9th April Veterans Support Association support and outreach meeting. 10am-4pm. Thursday 11th April Easter Family Fun Day at the Living Planet Centre, Woking. Drop in from 10.30am-3pm. Afternoon of discovery with guest gardening expert, Ben Brace, from RHS Garden Wisley. There will also be the opportunity to take on our exciting Easter treasure trail around our woodland, wetland and apothecary garden and create beautifully decorated recycled planters to take home. Friday 12th April Jazz at Imber Court offers an evening of sparkling jazz and wit. Alan Barnes, highly talented reed player, exchanges not only musical phrases but also good-natured verbal banter with the larger than life trumpet and flugelhorn player Bruce Adams. Sunday 21st April Easter Chocolate Hunt at Painshill Park. Use your detective skills to crack each clue and follow a treasure hunt around the Painshill landscape. Solve each riddle to complete the treasure hunt and reveal where the Easter Bunny has hidden all the chocolate.Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Sunday 21st April Charley Says presents Easter Fest this Easter Sunday at Esher Rugby Club. All day event running 2pm-10pm on the main field with an afterparty in the club house until 1am. Saturday 27th April and Sunday 28th April Sonnet Walk Weekend by the Guildford Shakespeare Company. The ever-popular Sonnet Walks return for another magical mystery walking-tour where you’ll encounter Shakespeare and his characters in the least likely of places. First walk at 12pm.
