Thursday 6th June Walton & Weybridge Flower Club. We welcome visitors to come along and be entertained by our demonstrators, who create beautiful flower arrangements which are raffled at the end of the demonstration, so you might be lucky enough to take one home. Tea and homemade cake on offer. 1.30pm for 2.00pm start at St Andrews Church Hall, Hersham Road, KT16 1LG. Parking within church grounds or on street and a bus stop outside for routes 458 & 564. We meet monthly on the first Thursday of the month (except Jan & Aug). Visitors entry fee £6.00 or annual subscription available.

Friday 7th June Surrey Blues Club at Hersham Sports & Social Club, 128 Hersham Road, KT12 5QL. A great evening of Blues music from The Surrey Blues Club Band and guest band The Voodoo Sheiks. No admission charge, no membership required, all welcome. Music from 8.30pm.
Saturday 8th June Molesey Carnival. Float parade on Walton Road, fancy dress competition, marching bands, novelty dog show, fund-raising stalls, plus some special performances in the Arena. Saturday 8th June Walton & Weybridge Regatta. Over 200 races throughout the day from about 8.30am-6.30pm. Great day out for spectators of all ages who can watch the racing from the towpath between Walton Marina and Sunbury Lane. Good places to view from are The Anglers (on Walton Wharf) and the park off Felix Road. There is also a catering marquee near the finish of the races on the grass at the end of Felix Road.

Tuesday 11th June Veterans Support Association support and outreach meeting. 10am-4pm. Veterans and families drop in with several service charities in attendance offering advice and support all day. 3rd Molesey Scout Hut, St Peters Road, West Molesey, KT8 2QE. All veterans and families welcome. Free tea, coffee, biscuits and free brunch. Meetings are held 2nd Tuesday of every month. Saturday 15th June and Sunday 16th June Hampton & Kempton Waterworks Railway, Snakey Lane, Hanworth, TW13 7ND. 10.30am to 4pm. Join us for a ‘splashing’ day out with loads of activities for everyone! Train rides, water games, model boating pool, face painting, fire engine display. Our other onsite attraction is Kempton Steam Museum* right next door. See the world’s largest early 1900s 1,000-ton pumping engine, working and ‘in steam’ – a rare and awesome event that shouldn’t be missed. Learn about the journey of water from ‘river to tap’ and the part that the railway and Kempton Waterworks played in cleaning up London’s polluted drinking water in the early 20th century. Tuesday 18th June to Sunday 14th July Surrey Sculpture Society event at Hatchlands Park (East Clandon, GU4 7RT). 165 sculptures will be on display. Visitors will be able to enjoy the beauty of this renowned and historic National Trust property and the artwork on Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Sundays from 10am-5pm. Saturday 22nd June Family Fun Day at the Heart Shopping Centre, Walton-on-Thames. Activities for everybody to enjoy. From face painting, glitter tattoos and balloon models to a tombola, dance competition and lucky dip ball pit!
